Official: Edgar Berlanga Returns to the Ring on March 15

Matchroom Boxing has officially announced the next fight for 27-year-old Puerto Rican super middleweight (168 lbs / 76.2 kg) Edgar Berlanga (22-1, 17 KOs).

Berlanga will face his 35-year-old countryman Jonathan Gonzalez (20-0-1, 16 KOs) on March 15 in Orlando, USA, with the event being broadcast exclusively on DAZN.

Omari Jones makes his pro debut against Alessio Mastronunzio (14-5, 4 KOs)

Berlanga is looking to bounce back after suffering the first defeat of his career in September, when he lost a unanimous decision to Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Meanwhile, Gonzalez is coming off a seventh-round KO victory over Edward Diaz in June.
