When Will Joshua Be Back? Hearn Reveals Recovery Timeline

Matchroom Boxing CEO Eddie Hearn, who promotes former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, has provided an update on AJ’s recovery from injury.

"It’s just the upper body, that’s all. Nothing too serious. He’s back to training, but not fully ready for a full training camp yet. He needs about eight more weeks before he can start punching properly—so by April or May, he should be able to return to full camp. That puts us on track for a fight in late summer," said Hearn.

Joshua last fought against Daniel Dubois, suffering a knockout loss. His expected return date remains uncertain as he continues rehabilitation.
