Eddie Hearn reveals Anthony Joshua's next fight & Wilder bout postponed

British promoter Eddie Hearn has disclosed when the next fight for former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua (26-3, 23 KOs) is set to take place. In an interview with IFL TV, Hearn stated that the fight will happen at either the end of December 2023 or in January 2024. Consequently, the potential bout between Joshua and Deontay Wilder is being postponed, with that fight potentially coming in March or April 2024.

Previously, it was reported that Wilder and Joshua's teams were in negotiation. They met with potential organizers from Saudi Arabia and could have become the co-main event on the same night that Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury were set to box.

Later, Eddie Hearn revealed that negotiations regarding the Joshua vs. Wilder fight had ceased, with Wilder's trainer declaring that interest in such a showdown had diminished due to the contract signing between Usyk and Fury.
