Eddie Hearn Reacts to Chisora-Wallin Fight: "A Tough Matchup for Derek"

Matchroom Boxing CEO Eddie Hearn shared his thoughts on the upcoming bout between 40-year-old Derek Chisora (35-13, 23 KOs) and Otto Wallin (27-2, 15 KOs).

"I don’t think it’s a bad fight. In my opinion, it’s a very tough matchup for Derek. When I worked with him, he once told me he’d kill me if I matched him against a southpaw. Yet, I went ahead and did it anyway—against Artur Szpilka. He took him out.

Wallin recently secured a win, but let’s be honest—Joshua undoubtedly broke him before that. For Derek, this will be a challenging evening, but I hope he can pull through," said Hearn.

The fight between Derek Chisora and Otto Wallin is scheduled for February 8 at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, UK.
