Matchroom Boxing head Eddie Hearn responded to the video from former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34–2–1, 24 KOs), in which Fury claimed he’s hanging up his gloves for good:
“I saw that video. If you want to come back and make a splash, first you ‘retire’ so they’ll ‘bring you back.’ If this is truly the last time we see Tyson Fury, I wish him well. But personally, I doubt it. Whatever decision he makes, he has my full respect.
Why do I doubt it? Because in my opinion, he’ll be back. I think he’ll get bored. He knows British fans want to see him fight AJ. I believe we’ll see him in the ring again. If not, then all the best to him,” Hearn declared.
