Promoter Eddie Hearn, who represents the interests of the former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, shared information about the upcoming fight of his ward.
According to a representative of the British boxer, they plan to make an offer to Dillian Whyte for a rematch this summer.
"It's very likely that we will make Dillian an offer to fight AJ in July. This fight makes sense for Joshua.
We would go in a stadium. You have the UFC that just pulled out of July 22nd. We go 29th, August 26th, or something like that. We may go the first week of August, but again, until we have these meetings next week, I just can’t give you the answers on that. I think we’re going to London," Hearn was quoted as saying by Boxing News 24.
It will be recalled that in December 2015, Joshua won a technical knockout victory over White and inflicted the first defeat of his professional career on his opponent at that time.
