David Benavidez, the WBC Interim Middleweight Champion, has weighed in on the much-anticipated bout between WBA, WBC, and IBF Welterweight Champion Errol Spence and WBO Champion Terence Crawford.
"I don't favor either of them because I know them both. I have a lot of respect for both guys, but it's going to be a great fight. It's going to be a legendary fight and I can't wait for it. As soon as you say somebody's going to lose, it's like, 'F**k it. , bro, do you really think I'm going to lose? That's bullshit," Benavidez remarked.
Benavidez further noted that there will be ample opportunities for Crawford to counterattack, as Spence will likely focus on body shots. He also lauded Spence's defensive prowess and his overall boxing capability.
"So it's going to be high-class boxing, high-class chess. They can end the fight at any moment, they know how to do it," Benavidez concluded.
It's worth mentioning that the much-hyped fight between Errol Spence and Terence Crawford is slated for July 29. This match is expected to be one of the most memorable and electrifying in boxing history.
