Dubois on Usyk vs. Fury Rematch: "I’ll Be There to Challenge the Winner"

IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) shared his expectations for the rematch between WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO titleholder Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) and Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs).

"I’m still backing Fury. I hope our guy gets it done. Usyk is capable too. Fury needs to come at him and put the pressure on. Tyson is also a technical boxer, but it’s going to be a great fight, and I’ll be there to challenge the winner.

The last few opponents have led me to this moment, and I think I'm ready now. When they fight, whoever wins, I want to meet him, unify the titles, and get more belts," said Dubois.

In May, Oleksandr Usyk won a split decision against Tyson Fury, becoming the first undisputed heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) in 25 years. The rematch is scheduled for December 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In September, Dubois knocked out Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) in the 5th round.
