Former champion Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) and IBF heavyweight titleholder (over 90.7 kg) Daniel Dubois (21-2, 20 KOs) faced off ahead of their upcoming fight, which is set to take place on September 21 at Wembley Stadium in London, UK.
Commenting on the match, Dubois stated that his goal is to knock Joshua out.
"I need to turn Joshua into an old man, step into the ring, and take the win from him.
I don’t think he’s the same guy. People in this sport change their minds easily. In his last fights, he fought an MMA fighter (Francis Ngannou) and Wallin. His last opponent had only his second professional fight.
My goal is to knock him out. I want to make him look like a fool by knocking him out," Dubois said.
In December 2023, Joshua defeated Otto Wallin (27-2, 15 KOs) after the Swede was forced to retire after five rounds due to a broken nose. In March, Joshua knocked out former UFC champion Francis Ngannou (0-2) in the second round.
