Dubois' Coach: "Hard to Keep Up with Usyk's Pace"

Don Charles, the coach of British heavyweight Daniel Dubois, has stated that WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) needs to be in the best shape of his life for his upcoming match against Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs).

- Will Fury’s strategy change due to Usyk’s approach to the fight?

- No. I’ve always had one opinion on this. It’s not about being biased. Long before this, I said that if Tyson Fury ever faced Usyk, I see only one winner. But this is a boxing match. Tyson must bring his best game that night. Tyson needs to be in the best shape of his life because he’s going up against a very challenging opponent. It’s hard to keep up with Usyk’s rhythm. If the Tyson we know shows his best performance, then there will be only one winner in this match—Fury, - said Charles.

Usyk and Fury will meet for the absolute championship on May 18. Oleksandr won his previous match by knocking out Dubois in the ninth round.
