IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois has spoken publicly for the first time since the illness that forced him to withdraw from his scheduled February 22 clash with Joseph Parker in Riyadh.
“I wanted to fight Parker in Riyadh, but my team, the doctors, and my father didn’t allow me to get in the ring.
It’s frustrating, but sh*t happens. I’m coming back. I’ll have good news for the fans soon. Usyk, Parker, Joshua — anyone. I’m ready,” said Dubois.
One of the potential next opponents for Dubois is Oleksandr Usyk, with a possible undisputed title rematch on the line.
