Donaire and Santa Cruz Set to Clash

Former four-division world champion from the Philippines, Nonito Donaire (42-7, 28 KOs), met with four-division ex-champion Mexican Leo Santa Cruz (38-2-1, 19 KOs) and declared their readiness to engage in an exhibition match.

"Leo and I are going to have an exhibition fight. We're going to make it happen. And we're telling everyone so they can tell Jake Paul and Mike Tyson – don't do it. We're better than them," Donaire stated.

Donaire is 41 years old, while Santa Cruz is 35. The Mexican last boxed in 2022, winning by a decision. The Filipino was in the ring in the summer of 2023, where he lost by a unanimous decision.
