American boxer Blair Cobbs (16-1-1, 10 KOs), the upcoming opponent of four-division former champion Adrien Broner (35-4-1, 24 KOs), explained why the banner for their fight reads: "The fight will happen if Broner shows up."
"Broner will show up 100%. All this 'if Broner shows up' is because Don King is tired of all this with Adrien. Broner isn't very consistent in showing up for fights.
It was Adrien Broner and his team who called me to make this fight happen. Soon after that, I was in Don King's office, organizing the agreement and setting up the fight.
Broner, get ready for pain," said Cobbs.
Broner and Cobbs will meet on June 7th in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
