Dillian Whyte Certain Dubois vs. Chisora Won’t Happen: "He Could Die"

Veteran heavyweight Dillian Whyte has strongly dismissed the possibility of a matchup between Daniel Dubois and Dereck Chisora, despite Chisora being named the IBF mandatory challenger for Dubois' world title.

In a blunt exchange, Whyte made it clear that he believes the fight is both unlikely and dangerously one-sided.

- There are rumors Dubois might fight Dereck Chisora next.

- No, he’s not going to fight Dereck Chisora.

- But Dereck is the IBF mandatory.

- He’s not going to fight him.

- So Dereck won’t take the fight—or Dubois won’t?

- Dubois would kill Dereck. He could literally die. I’m serious. Right now, Dubois has bigger and better matchups ahead. It’s just business. Dereck is at the bottom of the list. There are bigger and better names above him.

As previously reported, the IBF is preparing to sanction a title bout between Dubois and Chisora, but with Dubois eyeing fights against Oleksandr Usyk, Anthony Joshua, or Joseph Parker, the matchup may never materialize.
