Dillian Whyte wants a rematch with Tyson Fury

Former WBC interim world champion Dillian Whyte wants a rematch with WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. White is confident that the fight could have turned out differently if he had not suffered a leg injury.

“You know, I want to go back to fighting for the title and obviously have a rematch with Fury at some point.”

“I used to fall in fights and get up again. Fury hit me with a good punch, pushed me, and when he pushed me, I sprained the ligaments in my leg and obviously needed some rest. That's why I haven't fought since."

“In that fight, if you follow the rules, you had to stop the fight and invite a doctor. They didn't. They just ended the fight, which was against protocol. It is what it is. This is boxing. Such things happen. I choose to move on."

Recall that in April, White lost to Fury by technical knockout in the sixth round in a fight for the WBC heavyweight title.

Dillian will face undefeated American boxer Jermaine Franklin on November 26 in London.

White also announced his intention to fight five boxers, including Ukrainian WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.
