Details of the Ennis-Crowley Fight Bid Revealed

ESPN journalist Mike Coppinger has reported details of the bid won by Matchroom Boxing for the fight involving "interim" IBF welterweight champion Jaron Ennis (31-0, 28 KOs) against Cody Crowley (22-0, 9 KOs).

According to insider information, Eddie Hearn's company offered $3.9 million, while TGB Promotions bid $2 million. The purse split will be 85/15, meaning Ennis will receive $3.315 million, while Crowley will get $585,000.

Hearn plans to organize the fight in July in Philadelphia, USA.

Jaron Ennis last entered the ring in July of the previous year against Roiman Villa (26-2, 24 KOs) and won by knockout. Cody Crowley, in March of the same year, won by majority decision against Abel Ramos (27-6-2, 21 KOs).
