Derek Chisora: "I Heard Usyk Will Fight Andy Ruiz in Las Vegas"

British heavyweight Derek Chisora shared information regarding his potential showdown against American former champion Deontay Wilder and also spoke about a possible opponent for the reigning WBA, WBC, and IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk.

“Right now I heard Usyk will be fighting… what’s his name? What’s that Mexican guy’s name? Um, Ruiz? In Vegas.

Listen, when we get the Deontay Wilder fight done, I’ll let you know,” Chisora said.

Derek Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs) plans to stage the 50th fight of his career. It is likely that he will retire from professional boxing after this bout.

Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs) had previously called out Deontay Wilder, but according to Chisora, the option with Mexican Andy Ruiz is currently being considered.
