Heavyweight contender Derek Chisora has thrown his hat in the ring to face off against ex-champion Anthony Joshua. The British boxer has declared his readiness to step into the ring on August 12, offering to replace his compatriot should negotiations for a rematch with Dillian Whyte fall through.
"You know, Dillian; Dillian’s in Portugal, man. He’s learning how to speak Portuguese. Us Brits, we stay here, man. We’re not going anywhere. If Dillian doesn't take it [Anthony Joshua fight], Eddie, give it to me. I’ll be out in August. On August 12th, I’ll be out," Chisora stated to Boxing News 24.
