Date Set for Derek Chisora’s 50th and Potential Final Fight

The date has been confirmed for the 50th fight of British Heavyweight Derek Chisora, which has been called a potential farewell bout in his career. The fight will take place on December 13 as part of a Queensberry Promotions show at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester.

Chisora himself made the announcement:

“Let me tell you something. We’re coming back to Manchester, December 13, ‘Road to 50.’

So book your hotels, book your restaurants — we’re coming with Queensberry to finish it off in Manchester.

The opponent will be announced soon. I already had one, but the big boss took him. You can’t argue when the big boss says he wants someone, so that’s how it is,” Chisora said.

At 41, the British veteran is currently riding a three-fight winning streak, with victories over Gerald Washington, Joe Joyce, and Otto Wallin.
