Deontay Wilder's Trainer Predicts Knockout for Andy Ruiz in Potential Fight

Malik Scott, the trainer of former world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, shares his expectations for a potential bout against former division champion Andy Ruiz. He firmly believes that his fighter will secure an early victory, delivering a knockout blow to Ruiz.

"I don’t even want to say what round that I think because it comes across as very brash, but I will say something will happen to Andy Ruiz that has never happened before. He will be knocked out cold. He has been hit by lighter punchers that don’t hit as hard as Deontay, and he has been down, has been hurt, has been wobbled. Does that make him a bad fighter? Absolutely not. I’m just talking about him going up against the hardest puncher in the history of the sport," Boxing News 24/7 quoted Scott.

Scott envisions Ruiz ending up in a similar situation as Robert Helenius - knocked out cold.
