Denys Berinchyk vs. Sam Nokes Fight Canceled: Alexander Krassyuk's Comments

On the evening of November 21, the boxing statistics website Boxrec published information stating that the next opponent for WBO lightweight champion Denys Berinchyk (19-0, 9 KOs) would be Britain's Sam Nokes (15-0, 14 KOs). Moreover, according to this information, the bout was to take place on the undercard of the Usyk-Fury rematch.

Subsequently, a poster for the boxing event appeared, featuring the Berinchyk-Nokes pairing. However, neither the organizers nor the boxers shared this poster on their social media pages. Berinchyk's promoter, Alexander Krassyuk, refuted the information about the fight in a comment to Tribuna:

"I don't understand. Someone made a mistake," Krassyuk stated.

Nokes has a scheduled fight on December 7 against Ryan Walsh. Berinchyk was expected to fight on the undercard of Usyk vs. Fury on December 21, but no agreements have been reached yet.
