Oscar De La Hoya, the man in Ryan Garcia's corner, has dropped a teaser about Garcia's next face-off:
"Get set for a Garcia vs. Jose Ramirez showdown. It's brewing and ready to roll," De La Hoya punched out.
Ex-WBC super lightweight kingpin Regis Prograis chimed in with his two cents: "Top-notch matchup," Prograis applauded.
Kicking off 2024, Ryan Garcia threw his hat in the ring for a clash with Devin Haney but later pivoted, eyeing WBA super lightweight champ Rolando Romero instead. Jose Carlos Ramirez, fresh from inking a deal with De La Hoya's Golden Boy squad, is all set.
Garcia's last tango in the ring saw him dispatch Oscar Duarte in December 2023, while Ramirez left his mark in March 2023, taking down Richard Commey with a knockout in the 11th round.
