David Haye Names "The Baddest Man on the Planet" in Boxing

Former world champion in cruiserweight (up to 90.7 kg) and heavyweight (over 90.7 kg) divisions, David Haye shared his thoughts on the fight between WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) and Francis Ngannou (0-1), calling Francis "The Baddest Man on the Planet."

"The fight between Fury and Ngannou provoked mixed feelings. Tyson won on points and moved closer to the fight for the title of undisputed champion with Usyk. However, Ngannou's incredible performance really stood out. In my opinion, Ngannou had the advantage, won more rounds than he lost, including a legitimate knockdown, making that round 10-8. Ngannou's control in the boxing ring, solely by boxing rules, impressed me the most, especially since it was his first boxing match. Despite Fury's victory, let's acknowledge Ngannou's status as 'The Baddest Man on the Planet'," wrote Haye.

David Haye (28-4, 26 KOs) retired in 2018 after two consecutive losses to Tony Bellew.
