American WBC interim light heavyweight champion David Benavidez (29-0, 24 KOs) shared his pick for the winner of the December 21 rematch between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk in Riyadh.
"Honestly, even if Tyson Fury remains focused, I don’t believe he’ll win. I think Usyk will win again. It seems this fight will be more competitive.
It’s important for Usyk to stick to his plan: box, cut angles, use that left overhand.
If Fury shows more discipline and avoids messing around, the fight might be closer. But I’m still 100 percent choosing Usyk," said Benavidez.
In their first meeting in May, Usyk won by split decision. Back then, Benavidez also supported Oleksandr.
