Trainer of British Heavyweight David Allen, Jamie Moore, has named potential opponents for his fighter if he wins his upcoming bout.
“I think the risk is justified for Dave at this stage of his career. He can’t afford easy fights anymore. If he wants to move forward, earn big money, and change his family’s life, this is the moment. He’s one win away from a fight with someone like Joseph Parker or Deontay Wilder.
He just turned 33, but what’s remarkable is how much ring craft Dave picked up during those years when he wasn’t in the best shape. Because he fought very strong opponents, the experience he gained and the defensive skills he developed from not being in proper condition are now helping him.
He’s got experience, stamina, and ring craft. And now, being in shape, he can combine his offense with the defensive work he built over the years. He’s become a truly well-rounded boxer,” said Moore.
The next fight for 33-year-old David Allen (24-7-2, 19 KOs) will take place on October 11 against 36-year-old Russian-born Canadian Arslanbek Makhmudov (20-2, 19 KOs) in Sheffield, United Kingdom.
