37-year-old American junior middleweight Danny Garcia shared his thoughts ahead of his upcoming fight against Daniel Gonzalez.

“There’s one week left, and I feel ready. This is the real Danny versus the fake Danny.

It feels like the final scene of my movie — and we have to end it with a win. I feel renewed. Honestly, it feels more like my first fight than my last. I’m ready to go out there and do what I do best.

I had to keep entertaining my fans in Brooklyn. They made me who I am today, so this is the perfect place for this fight.

I’ve fought everyone — never ducked anybody. I’ve stepped in with whoever they put in front of me, and that’s why the fans love me. I’m proud of everything I’ve gone through, both inside and outside the ring. And I’m still here.

I have no regrets about my career. Wins, losses — all of it made me who I am. So on October 18, we’ll step into the ring one last time and show the world that I deserve to be in the Hall of Fame,” said Garcia.

The fight between Danny Garcia (37-4, 21 KOs) and Daniel Gonzalez (22-4-1, 7 KOs) will take place on October 18 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, USA.
