Danny Garcia Knocks Out Gonzalez in Round 4 (VIDEO)

On October 18 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, USA, 37-year-old American Danny Garcia faced Daniel Gonzalez. The fight ended in the 4th round by knockout — Garcia landed his signature left hook, closing the show in emphatic fashion.

For Gonzalez (22-5-1, 7 KOs), this is his first defeat in his last three fights.

Previously, there had been talk that this bout might mark the final appearance in the career of Danny Garcia (37-4, 21 KOs). However, after the victory, Danny himself suggested he may not be done yet:

“At the end of the day, I’m healthy. I have a beautiful family… I don’t know. The chances of me stepping into the ring again are high, yes,” Garcia said after the win.

Before this fight, the American last appeared in the ring in the fall of 2024, where he suffered a stoppage loss to Erislandy Lara.
