Dana White on Partnering with Boxing Promoters: "I Hope I Never Share a Stage with De La Hoya or Arum"

UFC president and head of the newly formed TKO Boxing, Dana White, addressed whether he plans to collaborate with other boxing promoters.

"If you look back at the UFC, we started with an old octagon and just 12 contracts. And we built everything from there.

I believe boxing is broken, and we need to rebuild it from the ground up. That’s my focus. We have an 18-month plan—many fights, fighters, and promoters. It’s the same approach we took with the UFC. We built stars who became PPV attractions. I want to do the same with boxing.

I'll never say 'never.' But I hope I never have to stand on the same stage as Oscar De La Hoya or Bob Arum," White stated.

Earlier, Matchroom Boxing CEO Eddie Hearn commented on whether he was concerned about the Turki Alalshikh–Dana White partnership and its potential impact on the sport.
