"30 Seconds of Pay for Canelo": Dana White on Alvarez vs. Paul

UFC President Dana White shared his thoughts on a potential bout between influencer and boxer Jake Paul (11-1, 7 KOs) and WBA, WBC, and WBO champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (62-2-2, 39 KOs).

“Canelo is still number one. He gets in the ring and handles business. It’s incredibly tough to stay at that level for so long. What does he make? $40 million a fight?

This would just be 30 seconds of f***ing pay for Canelo. I don’t know why he wouldn’t take it… He can fight real opponents, maintain his reputation, and still earn that kind of money," White said.

On November 15, Jake Paul defeated Mike Tyson (50-7, 44 KOs) via unanimous decision. In September, Saul Alvarez claimed a unanimous decision victory over Edgar Berlanga (22-1, 17 KOs).
