Dan Rafael Harshly Criticizes Referee in Parker vs. Wardley Bout

Boxing insider Dan Rafael has delivered a scathing assessment of the referee’s performance in the heavyweight clash between Joseph Parker and Fabio Wardley.

“At the time of the questionable stoppage by the usually terrible Howard Foster, Parker was ahead on the cards — 98–92, 96–94, and 95–95. This referee has been ruining fights for decades,” Rafael wrote.

To recap, on October 25, Fabio Wardley (20-0-1, 19 KOs) stopped Joseph Parker (36-4, 24 KOs) via 11th-round TKO after a prolonged offensive surge prompted the referee to step in and halt the contest.
