Dalton Smith Dominates Walid Ouizza

On January 25 in Nottingham, UK, British boxer Dalton Smith (17-0, 13 KOs) faced Frenchman Walid Ouizza (19-3, 8 KOs) in the main event of the evening. The bout was contested for the WBC Silver title and the vacant EBU European super lightweight belt (63.5 kg).

The fight, scheduled for 12 rounds, lasted only one. Smith dropped Ouizza twice in the first round, prompting the referee to stop the bout — TKO in round 1.

This marks Smith’s third consecutive stoppage victory, while Ouizza suffers his first loss since November 2017.
