Dalakyan will fight on January 28 in England

Ukrainian boxer Artem Dalakyan (21-0, 15 KOs) will hold his next fight against Costa Rican David Jimenez (12-0, 9 KOs) on January 28.

The match will be held in Great Britain. It is assumed that the meeting will take place in London on the undercard of the fight between Artur Beterbiev and Anthony Yard, scheduled for that day. Earlier it was reported that a meeting between Dalakyan and Jimenez could be organized in Costa Rica.

34-year-old Dalakyan won the title of world champion in 2018. In November 2021, in a match against Luis Concepcion, the Ukrainian successfully defended the belt for the fifth time.

Previously, Jimenez defeated the American Ricardo Sandoval (20-2, 15 KO) in a fight for the status of mandatory contender for the WBA belt, which the Ukrainian owns. According to the results of the 12-round match, the judges gave the victory to the Costa Rican by the majority of votes.
