Solomon Dakres Defeats Vladyslav Sirenko

On 19 July at Wembley Stadium in London, United Kingdom, the undercard of the Usyk–Dubois rematch featured a 10‑round Heavyweight clash (> 90.7 kg) between 30‑year‑old Ukrainian Vladyslav Sirenko (22‑1, 19 KOs) and 31‑year‑old Briton Solomon Dakres (10‑1, 3 KOs).

The bout went the full distance, Dakres winning by unanimous decision. Judges’ scores: 99‑91, 98‑92 and 99‑92 for the Briton.

It is the first loss of Sirenko’s career; last October he stopped Brandon Carmack in four rounds. With the victory Dakres avenges the sole defeat on his own ledger—a December 2024 loss to David Adeleye.
