Isaac Cruz and Angel Fierro will not be Denys Berinchyk's opponents in the title fight!
Iegor Golub, the coach of Ukrainian WBO International champion Denys Berinchyk, announced that Isaac Cruz and Angel Fierro will not be Denys's opponents in the bout for the vacant WBO title. On November 30, Devin Haney announced that he would vacate all his lightweight titles after the fight with Regis Prograis in the first super lightweight division, scheduled for December 9.
For the IBF title, Vasiliy Lomachenko and George Kambosos Jr. are likely to compete in April of the following year. Denis Berinchik will have the chance to fight for the WBO belt.
Denys is ranked second. Cruz is third, Fierro is fourth. William Zepeda and Frank Martin are next in the rankings – fifth and sixth, respectively.
