Crawford vs. Ennis: Chukhadzhian Picks His Favorite

Ukrainian welterweight (up to 66.7 kg) boxer and Ready To Fight ambassador Karen Chukhadzhian (23-2, 12 KOs) shared his pick for the potential matchup between two-time undisputed champion Terence Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs) and IBF welterweight champion Jaron Ennis (31-0, 28 KOs) in an exclusive interview for Ready To Fight.

- Do you think Ennis can defeat Terence Crawford or not? How would their fight go?

- Well, no… I'm a big fan of Crawford (smiles). I don't know… Probably not. At least, that's how it seems to me. Because Crawford is an amazing fighter, very smart, fast, and hard-hitting. Moreover, he hits from positions that you wouldn't expect. In situations where others would just defend, he can deliver a counterpunch.

But on the other hand, he’s not that young anymore. However, age has not affected him yet, has not made any difference.

Crawford is a fighter who only needs one punch. And Ennis is a fighter who doesn’t get hit (laughs).

Stylistically, it's a very interesting fight. It would be a great spectacle. I think everyone would want to watch such a fight.

I think that currently, Crawford is stronger.

Chukhadzhyan and Ennis fought in 2023, where Jaron won by a judges' decision. Karen’s next fight will be against Briton Scarff for contender status for the belt that Jaron holds.
