Crawford Ready to Fight Teofimo Lopez. But There’s a Condition

WBA super welterweight champion (up to 69.9 kg) Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) has set a condition for a fight with WBO super lightweight champion (up to 63.5 kg) Teofimo Lopez (21-1, 13 KOs).

“Teofimo, if you can beat Israil Madrimov in your next fight, I’ll fight you. Deal? Let’s see how badly you want to fight me,” Crawford wrote.

In August, Terence Crawford moved up a division and defeated Israil Madrimov (10-1-1, 7 KOs) by unanimous decision. Teofimo Lopez, in June, secured a unanimous decision victory over Steve Claggett (38-8-2, 26 KOs).
