"He's More Refined." Crawford on Garcia vs. Haney Favorites

WBO, WBC, and WBA welterweight champion (up to 66,67 kg) Terence Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs) commented on the first defense of the WBC super lightweight title (up to 63,5 kg) by Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) in the fight against Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs).

"It's a wonderful fight, they both know each other very well, they've been in the ring together many times, both are young, hungry, and know what it takes to beat the other.

But I still favor Devin; he's more refined, more perfected. The longer the fight goes on, the bigger his advantage will be," Crawford said.

On April 20th, Haney will be defending his title for the first time, which he won at the end of 2023 in a fight against Regis Prograis. For Ryan, this will be his first official fight at super lightweight – his previous bout against Oscar Duarte was held in a catchweight category.

Terence Crawford hasn't fought since the summer of 2023, when he secured an early victory over Errol Spence.
