After his confident victory over David Avanesyan (30-5-1, 18 KOs), IBF welterweight champion (up to 66.68 kg) Jaron Ennis (32-0, 29 KOs) stated that he would like to face WBA, WBC, and WBO titleholder Terence Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs) in the same division.
"This is what I want. I need big names, Terence Crawford, anyone in this weight class with a big name. Let's make it happen," Ennis told DAZN.
Crawford was quick to respond.
"Now a world-class fighter, sunshine? Double standards are just crazy!!! Eddie Hearn, you talk a good game," wrote Terence.
Recall that on the night of July 14, Jaron Ennis defeated David Avanesyan after Avanesyan’s corner decided to stop the fight (RTD 5). David was knocked down in the fifth round.
