Crawford vs. Canelo: KO Bonus Promised to the Finisher

At the official press conference for the upcoming bout between Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (63-2-2, 39 KOs), Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, announced the possibility of an additional bonus for a knockout victory.

– You’ve said many times that you no longer want to see ‘Tom and Jerry’-style fights, where one fighter chases the other. What’s your plan to stop that?

– First of all, we won’t have them anymore. Second, in this fight and those that follow, we will introduce a knockout bonus, Turki stated.

The showdown is scheduled for September 13. The venue for the fight has been officially confirmed earlier.
