Britain's own Conor Benn (22-0, 14 KOs), tipping the scales at welterweight (147 lbs), has thrown down the gauntlet to America's Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs), the reigning WBC champ in the lightweight division (140 lbs), daring him to step up and face off:
"Any top dog from the States - bring it on. If Devin Haney's game to cross the pond and beef up to welterweight, let's get it. Think it'll be a walk in the park? Not on my watch. I'm all in. We can make it happen stateside, back in Blighty, or even in a phone box - wherever," Benn quipped to BBC Sport.
Benn is gearing up for his next scrap on Feb. 3 against Peter Dobson (16-0, 9 KOs) in the neon jungle of Las Vegas.
