Coach: "Jared's Potential is Just Crazy"

In an interview with BoxingScene, coach Prenice Brewer, of the promising American heavyweight knockout artist Jared Anderson (16-0, 15 KOs), claimed his protégé is the fastest boxer in the heavyweight division.

"I've known Jared since he was a child. After the last fight of Tiger (Delante Johnson), he wanted me to help him alongside his childhood coach Darryl Riley. I always knew he was special because he moves like a small guy. I knew his hands were fast, but I didn't realize how fast until I got in the ring to spar with him. He has very, very fast hands for a heavyweight. There's no one faster than him in the heavyweight division. If you look at the heavyweight division, it's cool, but he's different. He's like Roy Jones Jr. in the heavyweight because he's so athletic, gifted, and can fight in both stances – and he has power in both hands. This is just the beginning for Jared. The world hasn't even seen what he's capable of yet. He's going to unlock new levels, I'm telling you – his potential is just crazy," said Brewer.

Jared Anderson's next fight will be against Ryad Merhi (32-2, 26 KOs) on April 13th in Corpus Christi, USA.
