Coach on Tyson's Health: "No Need to Worry"

In an interview with Talk Sport, the coach of former champion Mike Tyson, Rafael Cordeiro, commented on reports that the legendary heavyweight's (over 90.7 kg) health would be at risk during the fight against Jake Paul (9-1, 6 KOs).

"I think there's no need to worry about that. We're talking about a two-time world champion. Mike hasn't fought 20 fights in two years, he knows how to fight. He's fought the best guys in the world. When he steps into the ring, he knows what to do. This isn't something new for Mike, and this fight is no different from the others. He's working hard every day to get into the ring and try to knock Jake out. He's going to prove that in July. You can see the fire in his eyes when he trains, and he's never going to give less than he can," said Cordeiro.

The fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson is set to take place on July 20th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The event will be broadcast on Netflix. It is still unknown whether the bout will be exhibition or a full professional fight.
