Coach Explains Why Fury and Usyk May Not Meet in October

Coach and analyst Teddy Atlas explained why he believes the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury is unlikely to take place in October.

"The rematch has to happen. And it will happen. But I don't believe it will take place in October.

Firstly, I don't believe it because these two warriors left everything in the ring. Secondly, don't forget that they both went through three consecutive training camps – after all, the fight was postponed twice: first due to Tyson's injury, and then because of Tyson's cut," said Atlas.

Earlier, Bob Arum, Fury's co-promoter, mentioned that the rematch could happen in October or December 2024.
