Clarke Wins by Stoppage Against Zorro

On the night of May 26 in Leeds, UK, a fight for the vacant BBBofC British cruiserweight (up to 90.7 kg) title took place between Chev Clarke (9-0, 7 KOs) and Ellis Zorro (17-2, 7 KOs).

The fight ended with Clarke’s stoppage victory in the 8th round. Seconds before the bell, Zorro took two heavy blows and fell to the canvas – KO 8.

In January, Chev Clarke defeated Tommy McCarthy by technical knockout. For Ellis Zorro, this is his second consecutive loss – he was knocked out by Jai Opetaia in December of last year.
