Claressa Shields Becomes Undisputed Heavyweight Champion

On the night of February 3, at the Dort Financial Center in Flint, USA, Claressa Shields (16-0, 3 KOs) faced Danielle Perkins (5-1, 2 KOs) for the undisputed world title in the women's heavyweight division (over 90.7 kg).

The fight went the full 10-round distance, with Shields securing a unanimous decision victory. Judges' scores: 100-89, 99-90, 97-92.

Perkins suffered a knockdown in the 10th round, further cementing Shields' dominance.

With this victory, Shields becomes the undisputed champion in her third weight class, adding another milestone to her illustrious career.

In July, Shields stopped Vanessa Lepage-Joanisse via TKO in the second round.
