Chukhadzhian's Team Wins Purse Bid for Ennis Fight

According to journalist Jake Donovan, P2M Box Promotions, representing Ukrainian welterweight fighter and Ready to Fight ambassador Karen Chukhadzhian (24-2, 13 KOs), has won the purse bid for the IBF title fight against American champion Jaron Ennis (32-0, 29 KOs).

P2M Box Promotions outbid Ennis's promoter Eddie Hearn and his Matchroom Boxing by offering $250,000 more than Hearn. Donovan reports that the bid from P2M Box Promotions was made in euros and slightly exceeded $2 million.

Chukhadzhyan is the mandatory challenger for Ennis's IBF title. The fighters have faced each other before, with Ennis winning by a decision in their previous encounter.
