Chukhadzhian Defeats Scarff by Decision

On May 17 in Hamburg, Germany, a welterweight bout (up to 66.7 kg) took place between Ukrainian Ready To Fight ambassador Karen Chukhadzhian (24-2, 13 KOs) and Briton Harry Scarff (13-3, 3 KOs).

The fight lasted all 12 rounds and ended with Chukhadzhian winning by unanimous decision. The judges scored it 116-112 three times in favor of the Ukrainian.

Now, Chukhadzhian is the official contender for the IBF title, currently held by Jaron Ennis.

In his previous bout, which took place in October last year, Chukhadzhian won by technical knockout against Pietro Rossetti (18-2, 8 KOs). Scarff, in November, won by unanimous decision against Ekow Essuman (19-1, 7 KOs).
