British heavyweight veteran Derek Chisora is confident that a potential fight between himself and IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois would be a bigger box-office success than a rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Dubois.
“I want to fight for the world title against Daniel at Wembley. We can sell out Wembley.
I know Dubois pulled out of the fight against Joseph Parker, but he’s learning. He’s a good fighter who’s still learning his craft. People should cut him some slack. He’ll defend his title against me, because I know Parker wants to fight Usyk for the WBO belt.
Listen, I want this fight. We want good fights, and we want good business. And if I know anything about good business, it’s that me and Daniel is the fight to make.
Usyk and Dubois won’t sell out Tottenham or Wembley. I know that for sure,” said Chisora.
Recently, it was reported that the IBF may sanction a fight between Dubois and Chisora.
