Chisora: «Rumors Say Usyk is Moving to Cruiserweight»

British boxer Derek Chisora (34-13, 23 KOs) shared that according to his information, undisputed heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) plans to return to the cruiserweight division (up to 90.7 kg).

«There’s no more buzz around the rematch because the undisputed championship is settled. I’ve heard rumors, and I’m going to spread them – Oleksandr Usyk is moving down to cruiserweight. For now, these are just rumors,» said Chisora.

On the night of May 19, Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) by split decision and became the undisputed heavyweight champion. Usyk is the first undisputed champion in this division since November 13, 1999, when Lennox Lewis defeated Evander Holyfield in a rematch.

Derek Chisora's next fight will be against Joe Joyce (16-2, 15 KOs) on July 27 at the O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom.
