Derek Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs) has sparked speculation about a potential rematch with WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) after posting a photo with him, captioned simply:
"Hello, Oleksandr," wrote Chisora.
On February 8, following his unanimous decision victory over Otto Wallin, the 41-year-old Chisora made it clear that he wants another shot at Usyk.
"I’ll call Oleksandr Usyk and see if we can make it happen. Yeah, I believe I won the first fight (back in 2020). Let’s see what happens. But I want Oleksandr right now," Chisora said.
Their first bout in October 2020 saw Usyk defeat Chisora by unanimous decision. Now, with Chisora eyeing a big-name opponent for his 50th fight, he appears to be putting Usyk’s name back in the mix.
